About the Working Group
A working group exploring household access to private markets, focused on two questions:
- If and how can households benefit from private markets?
- What are the policy and general equilibrium issues if households gain access to private markets?
Goals
The group brings together scholars across finance, economics, law, and accounting who work on retail access to private markets. It has three goals:
- Encourage collaboration. Connect researchers working on these questions and help them find coauthors.
- Discuss research. Present and discuss work in progress and the existing literature on private markets and household investing.
- Learn institutional details. Build shared knowledge of the vehicles, regulation, disclosure, and accounting practices that shape how households access private assets.
